Completion Ceremony Held on Friday, May 23rd

The building completion ceremony for NGK Collaboration Square DIVERS and the New Atsuta R＆D Building was held on May 23.

DIVERS initiatives

As part of its Group Vision, the "Road to 2050," the NGK Group has set its sights on contributing to carbon neutrality and digital society with its unique ceramic technologies. A key part of realizing this aim is converting the structure of its businesses. DIVERS serves as a hub for endeavors to drive this transformation—fostering collaboration both inside and outside the company to accelerate progress.

At DIVERS, employees can connect through the NGK Group’s legacy of innovation and shared values, nurturing a sense of pride and a mindset geared toward taking on endeavors and embracing change.

This space is full of shared content, including concept videos highlighting the NGK philosophy and vision and interactive content designed to foster unity across the NGK Group. It also features workspaces that evoke the company's history of endeavors through NGK furniture with symbolic elements. Altogether, the area is an environment where new ideas and connections naturally take shape.

D-Reflection

A space dedicated to learning from past missteps, the D-Reflection theater examines case studies with a focus on compliance and safety to help employees develop the knowledge and mindset that future growth requires.

This area introduces the concepts behind DIVERS and key elements of the building's interior and exterior designs, with movable display equipment and interactive exhibits enhancing the experience. The space also serves as a platform for themed exhibits linked to D-Hub events

A flexible layout makes the D-Hub area ideal for a variety of activities and events that bring people from inside and outside the company together. In addition to creating opportunities for learning and discovery, the space also helps people taking part in the activities forge deeper connections.

Here, a timeline-based wall display explores NGK’s roots and ongoing efforts to meet the demands of changing times.
Accompanying the wall display is a themed, narrative-based exhibit highlighting projects that capture the spirit of endeavor.

Through an open exhibition of NGK’s core technologies, DIVERS encourages idea exchange and technical dialogue to spark fresh perspectives and generate new themes for co-creation.

ICE BREAK ZONE
This is a place where you can learn about ceramics and NGK's core technologies by touching models, hands-on sessions, and actual NGK products.
