The NGK Foundation for International Students supports international students through dormitory lodgings at the NGK International House and financial aid provided through the NGK Scholarship.

My husband was assigned to Japan just after we were married.I came to Japan as a housewife.

After three years, I wanted to study Japan's wonderful technologies and decided to go to graduate school.

Japan is a great country. The environment is very beautiful, and the people are kind.

In the future, I want to apply the knowledge and technologies I acquired in Japan in my home country. I want to help bridge Japan and Indonesia and contribute to my country's development.

I'm from El Salvador. I completed a master's degree program at Nagoya University in March 2019.
My dream is to contribute to the sustainable development of developing countries.
To become someone capable of doing this, I think you have to start by learning about the rest of the world.

I came to Japan, a country with a different language and culture than mine. I've interacted with kind Japanese people and with other international students of various nationalities staying at the NGK International House. I think this was the ideal environment for my goals.
